Our Medical Doctor
Mark Chorebanian, MD
Dr. Mark Chorebanian graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in radiologic technology, and went on to earn his doctorate at the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. He specializes in internal medicine and has eight years of emergency medical experience. Dr. Chorebanian currently works as an emergency medical physician and internist. He has previously worked at Holy Cross Hospital and Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, among others. Dr. Chorebanian has been practicing in the area of cosmetics for over ten years, and is certified in both laser and injectable treatments.
Our Staff
Mena Latas, Clinitian
Mena Latas graduated from the University of Paris, France. She is a certified clinician and trainer with over twenty years of experience in the cosmetic field, and she has been training and certifying offices for laser procedures all over the country for the past eleven years. She has performed thousands of procedures in all areas of laser treatment and is skilled in both ablative and non-ablative procedures. She specializes in darker skin tones and acne treatment.
Lisa Sanders, Certified Injector
Lisa Saunders has been in the Aesthetics field for 10 years. Starting a skin care and Botox program for a prominent group of opthamologists. Lisa became certified in Botox and fillers in 2002. Lisa has been recognized as one of the first Ace injectors in the country by Allergan. Lisa then moved on to heading up a new spa for a top plastic surgeon for 4.5 years with great success. In 2008 Lisa started her own independent business with another doctor offering Botox and fillers with 10 years experience. We are glad to have her as a part of our team here at Mena’s Aesthetics.
Christie Cowen, M.A., C.L.T.
Christie Cowen has worked in the medical field for ten years. She worked for an ophthalmologist group with Lisa Saunders. Christie graduated from Imaj Institute for medical lasers and safety certifications. She also graduated from an aesthetician school here in Tucson, AZ. She can do non-ablative and ablative treatments. Christie is also certified in doing chemical peels and facials with different types of skin care lines. She has done many treatments and she is proud of her accomplishments within the skin industry. She has traveled the world and the United States to continue on with the latest and most up-to-date skin and laser industry. Christie feels that she is working with the best team in Tucson at Mena’s Aesthetics and we are glad to have her on our team!
